Bridging the gap between high school students and the scientific community to accelerate the fight against Leukemia.
"Shining a light on Leukemia research. Led by students, fueled by hope."
Did you know that Leukemia is the most common form of cancer in children and teens? Even with all the progress we've made, many families still face this battle without enough support or resources for research.
That’s why we are building Project Orange Luminate. We are a student-led initiative launching for the 2026-27 school year. Our goal is to bridge the gap between high school students and the scientists searching for a cure. We focus on two things: spreading awareness about blood cancer symptoms and fundraising directly for Leukemia research labs. We want to prove that you don't need a medical degree to make a difference in a patient's life.
Every 3 minutes, someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer. While survival rates are improving, the road to a 100% cure depends on one crucial factor: consistent funding for research.
Project Orange Luminate was established to accelerate Leukemia research and support patient awareness through student-led advocacy and fundraising. We believe that direct action at the community level translates to massive real-world impact in the lab.
For the upcoming school year, Project Orange Luminate is launching with three distinct, measurable targets:
